dancer and musical theater performer. Ray has been teaching, producing and directing musical theater education programs in the Tampa Bay Area for 20 years. His background includes working with Warner Brothers International Television (Adult & Children Television), Disney Studios, Nickelodeon and NBC. This cast will be performing in the local Bay Area Children Centers. Our Saturday program is unique in that our advanced students are given focused instruction in theater, dance, visual arts, and music. The" Scenes From Broadway Musical" series offer activities for students ages 5 to 19 yrs*. This allows students to explore historical musical styles, music theory, the elements of music (melody, rhythm, dance forms, and dramatic tone) through a variety of performance activities. The majority of our students in our school system today have had limited exposure to Multicultural Musical Theater; therefore, a unit focusing on this area will serve as an excellent addition to their arts curriculum.
