If Tabitha’s story has been tugging at you, don’t ignore it. Sometime today, slow down and actually pray through what you’ve heard—your work, your “widows,” your quiet acts of love, and your next faithful “yes.” Ask God where He’s nudging you from comfort to costly care, from good intentions to Tabitha‑style action. I’m attaching a PRAYER CARD to guide those conversations with God and to share with someone who needs this same holy nudge.

Most people won’t know Tabitha’s name, but heaven does—and that’s what matters. This week’s message is all about letting your “ordinary” life become holy ground: using your everyday work, loving the overlooked in practical ways, and living so your kindness points people straight to Jesus. You don’t need a stage, just a yes. I’m attaching a SERMON CARD for you to sit with, pray through, and share with someone who needs hope. Let’s go live this, not just hear it.

This week, don’t just think about being light; pray into it. Ask Jesus where you’ve been hiding under baskets of fear, comfort, or shame, and where He’s asking you to shine right now: in your home, at work, with one specific person. Be honest about the places you feel timid or disqualified, and invite Him to realign your identity with His words: “You are the light of the world.” I’m attaching a PRAYER CARD to help guide your prayers and to share with someone who feels stuck in the dark.

Most people won’t read your Bible, but they will read your life. So stop hiding what Jesus has already lit in you. This week, flip the switch. Say His name in real conversations, not just at church. Move toward someone who’s stuck in the dark instead of passing them by. Pray out loud when everything in you wants to stay safe and silent. Choose costly integrity when compromise would be easier. I’m attaching a SERMON CARD to help you take your next step and to put in the hands of someone who desperately needs light.

This week, take some time to really pray into what it means to be “the salt of the earth”, not in theory, but in your actual conversations, choices, and relationships. Ask Jesus to show you where you’ve been blending in instead of bringing flavor, where your words need to heal instead of harm, and where He’s calling you to step out of the shaker and into courageous obedience. I’m attaching a PRAYER CARD to guide your time with Him. Use it for yourself, and pass it along to someone who needs the reminder that their life is meant to make a difference.

So thankful for the college students from Spartanburg. We spent this evening praying for our city and its people.

This week’s message isn’t meant to stay in the room on Sunday; it’s meant to shape your Monday. Jesus already called you the salt of the earth—that’s your identity, not extra credit. So don’t blend in. When others compromise, stay faithful. When conversations turn toxic, season your words with grace and truth. When it feels safer to stay quiet, courageously step out in love and obedience. I’m attaching a SERMON CARD as a simple, practical reminder—and to share with someone who needs it.
