Conway FOP

Last Friday, the Martin-McDaniel Lodge of the Arkansas FOP hosted Rock with a Cop at the John and Ola Hawks Wellness and Activity Center! 🚓💃🕺

It was an incredible evening where members of the FOP hit the dance floor with the community, all for a great cause. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $914 for the Meals on Wheels Program, and the Lodge proudly matched $500, bringing the total to $1,414!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, and supported this meaningful event. Together, we're making a difference for those in need!

Faulkner County Council on Aging

On November 22, 2023, Officer Perkins was in the parking lot of Golden Corral on Oak Street, investigating an accident that occurred on the roadway. While Officer Perkins was speaking with the drivers involved in the accident, another vehicle entered the parking lot at a high rate of speed and headed towards them.

Officer Perkins heroically pushed the other two individuals out of the way but was struck by the vehicle himself. The impact caused him to collide with a nearby flatbed trailer before landing approximately 15 feet away. Officer Perkins was transported to the hospital to treat his injuries and was off work recovering for some time.

For his courageous actions that day, Officer Perkins has been awarded the Medal of Valor. Congratulations, Officer Perkins, and keep up the outstanding work!
