What made you start Aerial/Pole?
Nissa found pole through Instagram! She saw a post of doing a jade split and thought… “I’m going to do that!” Yoga was her passion at the time and so for her it was like yoga on a pole. From there she took her first pole class and fell in love.

What made you stay?
Discovering her passion for pole and aerial arts.

Why did you become an instructor?
Becoming an instructor initially wasn’t on her radar. Her experience as a student, yogi and massage therapist eventually built a passion to start sharing her knowledge with students. She was later offered an opportunity to become an instructor and has been teaching since.

What about Pole/Aerial brings you most Joy?
Nissa really enjoys learning, flowing, dancing, connecting and expressing her own movement. There are all types of joy, but pole and aerial bring a unique experience for her.

What do you feel you have gotten out of Pole & Aerial?
Nissa has gained experience, knowledge in her movement and body, self awareness, strength, a strong sense of sensuality, a safe space to practice and an uplifting and supportive community.
