The Recreation and Adapted Physical Education departments set up inflatable water slides and pools at The Guild School to make cooling off fun this week. Don't forget to drink plenty of water in this heat too!

Thank you to Kona Ice for coming by today to serve up snow cones to students and staff at The Guild School! It’s a sweet way to start the holiday weekend.

A group of adult residents from several houses recently completed the healthy relationships class!

The curriculum is designed to help individuals understand boundaries, recognize the characteristics of healthy versus unhealthy relationships, and identify different types of relationships (friends, family members, staff, romantic partners, etc.).

Lessons are taught in accessible, concrete ways using visuals, examples, and role-plays so that participants can practice skills in real-life scenarios and apply what they learn outside the classroom.

It's a joy to share moments of celebration between the students, residents, their friends and family, and staff at our annual awards ceremonies every year. Each individual receives an award in recognition of their achievements and progress on their goals.
