Statement from MOTOR RACING NETWORK President – Chris Schwartz on the Passing of Ned Jarrett:

“Following a NASCAR Hall of Fame driving career Ned Jarrett transitioned to a decades long career in broadcasting laying the foundation for so many to follow. He joined the Motor Racing Network in 1978 initially serving as a pit reporter before moving to the booth. He anchored a daily radio program, “Ned Jarrett’s World of Racing”, for thirty-one years highlighting NASCAR’s best stories and brightest personalities. With his calming voice and attention to detail, Ned was one of motorsports great storytellers. On behalf of everyone associated with the Motor Racing Network, I extend my deepest sympathies to Ned’s family and friends.”
