With a 160-mile drive to Charlotte for our flight home Monday, we left some time to sightseeing as we traversed Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. We took a quick tour of Blowing Rock, which has some staggering scenery surrounding it. Before that, I admired a nice caboose in a small park on the roadside, near a river in Damascus, VA 😉
