While there is some health concern with COVID, and a complete isolation lockdown might seem to be an answer on a theoretical paper, the whole picture must be included in response considerations. All factors that will cause harm to the population must be evaluated; physical, mental, economic. More harm will come to this country by keeping us in selective lockdown.
Educate people, and give them the ability to weigh their own risks, and give them the correct tools to limit exposure, and prevent and treat infection. Give them knowledge, not just directions.
The country needs to return to normal. Teach effective personal protective measures, measures that are medically based, not something seen on Pinterest.
For all those on the first responder front lines, wear your PPE when appropriate, wash your hands, and don’t lick people.
