The first thing I’d do is learn the basic steps

Then I’d learn the 7 beginner moves that every bachata dancer should know.

1. Crossbody lead
2. basic right and left turns
3. Open and closed loops
4. Hammer locks
5. Two handed turns
6. Cuddle position
7. Cross handed terms

These are the foundational patterns that show up over and over again on the dance floor.
