A few weeks ago, we shared the story of Dr. Foster rescuing Ms. Chewy from the shelter. ❤️

Well… she completely stole the Foster family’s hearts and officially became a permanent member of the Foster family! We couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl.

We recently sent off an Embark DNA test to find out what breeds make up Ms. Chewy. The results are in… and let’s just say they were a surprise! 👀

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Ms. Chewy from the shelter! She has truly come out of her shell and is loving clinic life. She’s gained 4 pounds, has a great appetite, and is doing so well.

We did discover that she is heartworm positive, so that will need to be addressed, but we have already treated her for the parasites she came in with. Through it all, she has remained the absolute sweetest girl.

We have zero regrets about giving this precious girl a second chance at life. ❤️🐾
