Mineral vs. chemical sunscreen, which is better? ☀️

One of the questions I get asked most is the difference between mineral sunscreen and chemical sunscreen. Mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide) starts protecting your skin as soon as you apply it, while chemical sunscreen needs about 15–20 minutes to become fully effective.

For my skin, I choose mineral sunscreen because I prefer a physical UV filter that works immediately. The best sunscreen is always the one you'll wear consistently every day.
