Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Social Worker, Post-Doctoral Psychologist, or licensed Psychologist located in Commack, NY. This provider will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, counseling, and behavioral / cognitive-behavioral services to clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting psychological evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and offering therapeutic interventions. The provider will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Company Description

Our practice specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, offering individual, family, and group therapy, as well as psychological assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis and has experience doing child / family work with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). For post-doctoral clinicians, we offer supervision to meet licensure requirements.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge and at least some experience with behavioral and cognitive behavioral interventions

Experience in Counseling and Psychological Assessments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Masters Degree in Social Work or Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.

Experience in behavioral health or clinical settings is a plus

Wages are commensurate with experience and credentials.
