BELOW FREEZING TEMPS FORECASTED FOR EARLY NEXT WEEK AND THRU THE WEEK…
Lows in the upper teens with highs in the 30s are being forecasted beginning next Monday and through the week. Precipitation is expected but uncertain this early. Prepare ahead of time!
1. Make sure outside water hydrants and exposed pipes are properly insulated, covered and/or drained
2. Turn off all sprinkler system controllers
3. Shut off the water to the sprinkler system and drain if possible
4. Place a heat lamp or heater on a thermostat plug inside well houses or in areas that exposed pipes maybe vulnerable to extreme cold temps
5. Leave faucets inside your home dripping during the extreme cold temps
6. Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air around exposed plumbing
