🦋 Our first monarch and pipevine swallowtail butterflies of the season have emerged from their chrysalis!
Our education team takes care of caterpillars to use them for some of our educational programs and releases them as butterflies to live in the Garden.

Looking closely at one of the very interesting plants in the Garden for this Macro Monday!
This fruiting shrub features tiny, edible flowers, as seen here. The flowers are said to have a sweet and moderately fruity taste, and the fruit tastes like a blend of pineapple and guava (a really big hint!).
Can you guess this flower from up close?
