Just an hour until our opening reception! Tonight is the opening of Border Crossing in our main gallery and Heart & Home in Gallery B. Several artists will be in attendance. Come out and see some great work, mingle with artists and enjoy an evening amongst friends.

Border Crossing - an exhibition of Pittsburgh and Wheeling artists in Columbus 🧭

Opening reception will be held on July 10 from 6-8pm. Many artists will be in attendance. Let’s come out and show up for these awesome communities near and afar.

Ed Buns joined Blockfort in July 2025. He shares the studio with friend and creative, Stephen Horvath, .

He enjoys working with encaustic painting. A goal set for himself in the remainder of 2026 is to break away from visual reference and focus more on surreal reference with his work. Prior to painting and his retirement two years ago, Ed was a graphic designer.

Two of his paintings have been accepted into the Ohio State Fair’s Fine Art Exhibition. The opening reception is scheduled for July 24. Additional art can be seen at the and the .
