What makes you stay somewhere? For Jess Needham, the answer is simple: Culture!

Based in Toronto, Jess works in product marketing and digital experience at Softchoice, a World Wide Technology company, bringing clarity to complex launches and helping people understand what’s changing and why.

Ask her what matters most, though, and she’ll point to the people. As a leader on the Orange Pride ERG board, she’s helping build a workplace where everyone can show up as themselves.

“No one shows up to work wanting to make everyone’s day miserable — everyone’s just trying to do a good job.” Lead with that kind of empathy, she says, and you create space for people to be themselves and do their best work.
