What a meaningful day for our community yesterday at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Poindexter Village African American Museum. It was inspiring to come together to honor the history, legacy, and future of Poindexter Village.

Thank you to everyone whose vision, partnership, and support helped make this moment possible — and special thanks to Peace Shelbi for her hard work and dedication to this project!

Thank you James Preston Poindexter Foundation!
