I’ve been working with the Wellness Team at Columbus City Schools to help bring teachers and staff back to their “why” by sharing memorable moments from alums.

After doing several of these, it’s made me reflect a lot on my life in grade school and all the tiny little moments that have stuck with me because of one caring teacher.

If it wasn’t for my high school teacher Mrs. Gorsuch who encouraged me to keep making videos in her English class, I don’t know if I ever would’ve taken it seriously. She was always so proud to show my videos to her other classes and asked for copies so she could keep them.

Kids in school started to “know” me and my work. I remember that feeling pretty cool.

So thank you teachers and staff for all you do. You truly help shape our future 🙏💜
