Cheers To You

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting my dad and this may hold true for you too.

Yet I'm thankful for the men that were placed in my life to help me see my way through.

From my older brother, to my cousins, my uncles and pastor.

Who taught me that if I put God first there's nothing I can't go after.

To the man who stayed drunk on the street corner who told me mistakes are a part of life.

To the man who helped create the beautiful lady I call my wife.

To those who father kids that may not be their flesh and blood.

To those who are role models when no one else was.

To all that play a significant part in a child's life keep doing what you do.

This is your day to be recognized so...Cheers To You.
