Good Tuesday morning! We have two amazing June days on the way, so be sure to enjoy them! We are starting off with temps dipping into the 50s, and we will be mostly sunny with a high around 79. Low humidity will make it feel comfortable today and tomorrow. We will have a light breeze out of the north today at 5–15 mph, then winds turn out of the south tomorrow and remain light. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 56 before warming to around 81 on Wednesday. A few more clouds arrive later Wednesday from the west.
Humidity increases later this week as rain returns. Thursday will be more humid with a 40% chance of isolated showers and storms. We warm to a high around 84. More rain arrives Friday with scattered showers and storms as an area of low pressure moves across the region. Rain chances are around 60% Friday and 60% Saturday. Highs will be around 80 Friday and 83 Saturday. Right now, the best chance of rain Saturday appears to be during the first half of the day, with a lower chance later in the afternoon.
The heat cranks up heading into next week. Sunday warms to around 87 with partly cloudy skies and only a very slim chance of rain. Monday will be similar with partly cloudy skies and a high around 91. It gets even hotter heading into the middle of next week. Humidity will make it feel like the mid-90s on Monday, then heat index values may climb into the upper 90s by the middle of next week. Have a good one!

Good Friday evening! We have a fantastic weekend on the way for Central Ohio before rain returns. We’ll get to the forecast in just a second. We now have two confirmed tornadoes from Wednesday night’s storms. The first was an EF2 tornado that tracked from Franklin County, Indiana, into Butler County, Ohio. The second Ohio tornado was confirmed today in Pike County. The National Weather Service is still determining the strength of that tornado after completing additional damage surveys.
Tonight we will have partly cloudy skies with light winds as temps dip into the upper 50s. More clouds will move through around daybreak, and we may get a stray shower or sprinkle early Saturday as they pass through. Then we will be partly cloudy with a high around 79. Winds will be out of the west at 10–15 mph on Saturday.
Saturday night will be partly cloudy with light winds and lows in the upper 50s. The summer solstice arrives Sunday morning at 4:24 AM EDT. Sunday will be partly cloudy again as we warm to around 80 with light winds. A better chance of rain returns Sunday night, though most of the daytime hours will remain dry. We’re going with about a 20% chance of a stray shower Saturday and a 40% chance of rain arriving late Sunday.
Next week looks to start and end with rain, with lots of sunshine in between. Monday carries about a 70% chance of rain with mostly cloudy skies and a high around 75. Severe weather is not expected at this time. We return to partly cloudy skies Tuesday through Thursday with highs approaching 80. A stray pop-up shower is possible Wednesday or Thursday, though rain chances remain around 20%. Rain chances increase again Friday to around 40% with a high near 79. Have a good one!
