The State of Aging, COAAA’s annual event benefiting the Aging Solutions Foundation, will be at the Grand Event Center in Columbus on Thursday, May 21, 2026, 5-7 p.m.

The ’16 Over 60’ awards are back as well! ’16 Over 60’ will recognize 16 extraordinary central Ohio older adults. Stay tuned to COAAA social media in January for nomination information. Also, be sure to look for event ticket information in 2026.

Thank you Eldorado Scioto Downs for supporting our new Warm & Cozy program, which provides microwaves ovens and space heaters to individuals in need. This funding will help support the physical needs of vulnerable older adults and individuals with disabilities served by Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging. We are grateful for your support!

Tickets for The State of Aging are now available! Join COAAA at this inaugural event for an evening of impact and fun. The State of Aging will highlight the impact of COAAA and future trends in aging and disability services. It will also feature the ‘16 Over 60 Awards,’ a new recognition that will celebrate 16 central Ohio older adults.
Admission tickets are $50 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres and one drink ticket. Proceeds support the Aging Solutions Foundation. Free, convenient parking is available at the venue.

The State of Aging is Thursday, May 22, 2025, and will be at The Grand Event Center (Grandview Ballroom), 820 Goodale Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43212. The event is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This year’s event is a special edition of Spring Fling called Run for the Roses in honor of the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby that day! Wear your fanciest Derby hat and be eligible to win a prize valued at $25!

The event will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church’s Parish Life Center, 1559 Roxbury Road, Marble Cliff, 43212 from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM.

Tickets are $50 and all net proceeds go toward funding our grantees.
