What does Memorial Day mean to you?

A question that led us to stories that unfolded quietly at the base of the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Wall at , where thousands of names of fallen soldiers are etched in stone forever.

We spent time with Gold Star Families who remember the fallen and carry their names forward.

The big lesson with this project was to live to the fullest, so we don’t diminish the sacrifices made on the battlefield and here at home.

These clips are part of a bigger vision to explore what Memorial Day is through the eyes of Gold Star families, a project that is currently in development.

Today, we reflect, and we remember.
