So…..the big question that we often face in life is what do we do when God says “no” to something that we think is very important? Things we want to do and things that seem all too important for us to accomplish, but are just not meant to be. How do we handle such times? How do we accept the disappointment that accompanies these times? Our dreams and desires do not die easily. If our faith is strong, we must listen closely with a heart that is hurting and realize that God has not abandoned us, but He is asking us to let it go knowing that He sees what is best in times that our clarity is blurred. We must grieve, but grieve knowing that His love will see us through anything we face. And although disappointment is inevitable, we must go forward while responding with a renewed zeal and love for the people and things in our lives. Most of all, we must seek Him through prayer and The Word! Let it be so.
