🎉 Congratulations to our 2026 OSUNO Scholarship winners!! These individuals were celebrated and recognized last week at our annual Nurses Day Event.

The Dorothy Cornelius scholarships were awarded to Abena Atwimah from the UH OR, Kasten Rini from UH SICU, and Caileigh Moore from 5 Ross for $2300 each. The Undergraduate Scholarships were awarded to Brooks Myers and Katelyn Souslin for $2000 each.

We don’t just talk the talk on patient and nurse safety, we walk the walk. That’s why we went to the Ohio state house to advocate for HB 521 & HB 535/SB 373. HB 521 establishes minimum nurse-to-patient ratios across Ohio hospitals, while HB 535/SB 373 strengthens care committees and ensures direct care nurses have a meaningful role in making sure staffing is safe.

We’re proud to show up and advocate for good practices in OSU and across the great state of Ohio!

Today is OSUNO Nurses Day celebration! 🎉 We are down in the Ross Auditorium from 8am-9pm with food, swag, prizes, and much more!! Come down during your break or lunch or before/after your shift and get some goodies, chat with some of the OSUNO board members and find out more about our wonderful organization! We will also be rounding on our off site clinics throughout the day.
