Ohio State Bar Foundation
The Ohio State Bar Foundation is a charitable organization that excels at taking action. We give grants, support programs that address specific legal needs, and honor the accomplishments made by the legal community and members of the public. Through giving to the Ohio State Bar Foundation, you help improve the justice system in Ohio and increase Ohioans’ understanding of the law. Contributions directly support our growing grants program to local, regional and statewide nonprofit organizations.

The Hamilton County Clerk of Courts is the official record keeper and agent of Hamilton County’s Adult Justice System. It is also a recipient of a 2026 OSBF Spring Grant.
The Hamilton County Clerk of Courts received $50,000 to provide same day, limited representation to otherwise unrepresented Hamilton County citizens who are scheduled to appear in eviction court. In a matter of minutes, attorneys can analyze viable defenses for a tenant while also providing them with access to rent assistance made possible through partnerships with the City of Cincinnati and the United Way. This grant funding will allow hundreds of tenants to have access to an attorney who would otherwise proceed pro se.
We’re proud to support this project and increase access to justice for Ohioans in Hamilton County.
The OSBF has granted $19M+ since 1992. To learn more about our grants program, visit osbf.org/grants.
