LSS Food Pantries

Meet Joy, a wonderful friend of our Champion Avenue food pantry, who shares her love of reading with the neighbors we serve. She gathers books from the community and brings them to the pantry so clients can choose something special to take home. Her generosity, passion for books and warm smile are so appreciated!

When our Linden fresh produce distribution was unable to continue due to government funding cuts, our volunteers refused to let it disappear. They stepped up, raised the funds needed and made sure families will continue receiving fresh fruits and vegetables this summer, when many children no longer have access to school meals and families feel the greatest strain on their grocery budgets. We're so grateful for these incredible volunteers!
