In the fall, there's nothing better than pumpkin-apple butter-filled pancake balls from our member restaurant Katalina's. Did someone say brunch?

Happy to ALL the amazing women in Ohio’s restaurant, foodservice & hospitality industry! Without you, we wouldn’t be as strong, successful and dynamic as we are, and we salute you for the hard work and sacrifice you put into each and every day. We love you and can’t wait to see where you take us next! 🍴✨

On February 23, 2020, we experienced the grandest night of the year for the Ohio Restaurant Association at the Columbus Hilton Downtown, honoring industry champions, hospitality legends and the dedicated individuals and organizations representing the best of the best: our members.

The ORA celebrated the achievements of three of Ohio’s most outstanding restaurateurs, outstanding vendor and educator, leading industry innovator, tech titan, rising star and many more, and closed out the evening by paying homage to the newest inductees into the Ohio Restaurant Association Hall of Fame. On this night, we honored all of you — the dreamers and doers, the industry trailblazers, the cornerstones of your communities — working every day to write the hospitality story of the next 100 years.

Congratulations to our 2020 Industry Awards Celebration winners!

Kewpee Hamburgers has been a Lima community institution since 1928, serving up the best burgers in town with beef that is ground fresh daily.

The Home of the Mity Nice Hamburger had its start in 1918 in Flint, Michigan. In 1928, Hoyt F. “Stub” Wilson and his wife built the first location in Lima. As curbside service shifted, the downtown location became a drive-thru window, and a turntable was installed to spin cars around in order to exit the lot. The final location opened in 1981 on Bellefontaine Ave.

While this footage was taken prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe this video captures the true heart of Kewpee and the people that enjoy it on a daily basis.
