So glad we got to meet him and train for a day. It was for charity. He was a very good person.

In the early 1990's when I was Vice President of Bujinkan Columbus Dojo, we would occasionally have fund raisers for the community. through a company called Education Funding company, we were invited to raise money for Chuck Norris "Kick Drugs Out of America" his Non Profit organization. We went to Orlando, Fl with our donations we raised, and was able to meet him, and train with him for 1 day (with many other martial artists) The highlight of that trip was not so much meeting him, as it was when he stopped talking and pointed to our group and said "Now that's the real deal" (talking about the techniques we were doing). That was a great moment, and I was proud to shake his hand that evening (see photo). Mr. Norris does sport karate, and is so well known for his training, for him to acknowledge us was truly a moment to remember. I am no longer teaching a martial art, but I promise i will always show you the "real deal" when it comes to your personal safety.
