Our Agency was founded on the heart-felt belief that all children deserve the best we have to give — love, nurturance and stability. FAQ: What is the role of the adoption agency once a baby is placed in an adoptive home?
Answer: In Ohio, the adoption agency holds custody of the baby for at least 6 months while the adoptive parent(s) care for the child and the agency monitors the placement. Then custody is transferred to the adoptive parent(s) when the adoption is finalized in court.
