Pose Breakdown workshops begin next week. Saturday, January 14. This workshop is everyone whether it is your first yoga class or your millionth. We will be looking at shapes, variations and ways to build strength. There will be opportunities for discussion, questions and yes I will help everyone with their form. Think teacher training style without teacher training. Next week we start with Downward Facing Dog, Tadasana and Plank. You can sign up for the entire series or sign up for the shapes you are interested in. ​​​​​​​​

The first Full Moon of the year is tomorrow in Cancer. Full moons are wonderful times to release, to let go, to create room and space for what is yet to come. I think this full moon is quite timely in the first week of the year. I don't know about you but but I've been feeling pretty foggy, a little uncertain and questioning of where I should be on my path. Yes, I question these things too. This moon wants us to get out of the way. It asks us to let go of expecting to know the answers and asks us to allow things to fall into place. I'm teaching a 90 min Hot Class tomorrow in the Root Studio 6pm. We will work with the moon energy and I will be bringing this spray and candle with me. The Winter Solstice, a time when the sun stands still and the seasons change. In our time zone it’s a time where we’re are encouraged to enter the dark night of our soul. To have space from the shining brightness of the light and hibernate, sitting in our own truth. ​​​​​​​​
