Mjomii

Pound cake is now an official Mjomii menu item! It is completely gluten free like all of our other desserts and beverages and is sold at $4.50/slice.

Our current and first ever pound cake flavor, Earl grey, will be around for a month or two before we transition to a new flavor (TBD). Its base ingredients are almond flour and rice flour and it is flavored with finely ground earl grey tea leaves and fresh lemon zest. It makes a particularly wonderful accompaniment to a good cup of coffee or tea.

We scaled up the recipe significantly during the soft release phase so we will have a good stock each day we are open. There is still a chance of selling out, however, so we recommend coming earlier in the day if you are hoping to try it.

Our first limited, seasonal beverage ever is the Sakura Lemon Squash (桜レモンスカッシュ). Flavored with a house made syrup made with real powdered cherry blossoms and freshly squeezed lemons, it is lightly sparkling, delicate, and refreshing. Available starting today!($5)

Ingredients for this beverage are limited, so it will likely not be around for more than a couple of weeks.

Introducing Melon Soda (メロンソーダ) - a refreshing honeydew-flavored soda topped with lightly sweetened whipped cream and garnished with a cherry. There are two versions available - Classic (pictured - $5.25) and Plain (no whipped cream, just soda + cherry garnish - $4.75).

This is our second kissaten inspired menu item after our coffee jelly. Chef Calvin has always wanted to add this classic Japanese drink to our menu and it took him over a year to perfect the recipe. We highly recommend giving it a try!

We are a participating vendor for this year’s Greater Columbus Cherry Blossom Festival’s passport! If you bring in your passport any time before April 25th and purchase a Cherry blossom macaron we will stamp it with our logo. The participant who collects the most stamps from festival’s vendors and events wins a prize!

A quick update on shipping. We had hoped to send one final shipment this month but regrettably will not be able to. 😿 We’ve had a lot of things come up that have made this month extra busy to the point that we simply do not have the time to prepare another shipment. We are so sorry to everyone who was holding out hope for one last shipment this season. Shipping will resume after we return from our annual Fall break in November.

Our patio is open starting today! It’s a small, cozy, and shaded area just to the side of the shop. There are currently four little tables and we will be adding another soon!
Leashed, supervised pets are allowed on our patio! Because of the delicate nature of our glassware/drinks, we will be serving orders for the patio in to-go cups.
