"Ms. Denise... did you know there are MILLIONS of worms in our gardens, helping our plants grow?!?" 🪱

While students' worm estimates may be a little optimistic 😉 clearly the composting lesson from SWACO made a big impression on our South Side preschool classes today!

Students learned about compostables vs. recyclables♻️ and the important role that worms play in the ecosystem. Many even overcame their initial fear of worms and were gently holding them in cupped hands.

Our children are so lucky to have two such incredible educators and role models, inspiring and guiding them to be their best. CELC is so grateful for our amazing staff.

It is a VERY special day at Hilltop Early Learning Center. Our graduating Pre-K students and their families are gathering to celebrate their transition to kindergarten! These students will enter kindergarten next year ready to read, learn math, be a good friend, regulate big emotions, and SO MUCH more thanks to the important time they spent here!
