Grief.. I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat; and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief, is just love with no place to go.

Ty, I miss you so much. Life has changed so much since the night you left. I have so much I want to tell you. Music I want to share.. I know you’re at peace. I know my momma, and my boo boo face is their keeping you laughing till your crying. But man.. doing this life without you, and them.. just doesn’t seem real. I’ll see you in my dreams. I’ll have a squalie doee if you have the light.
