Here's the thing about color and print that nobody tells you until it's too late.
Your monitor uses RGB — red, green, and blue light — to build every color you see on screen. Your printer uses CMYK — cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink — to build color on paper.
They're different systems. And that means a deep navy that looks perfect on your screen can print as something muddy and dull if the file isn't converted first.
The fix is simple: before you send any file to print, make sure it's set to CMYK color mode. Your designer can do this in Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop in about 10 seconds.
If you're not sure whether your file is right, send it to us first. We check every file before it runs.
Save this for your next print project.

We've been asked this question at least once a day for 30 years and we still love watching people have opinions about it.
Matte: quiet, premium, intentional.
Gloss: bold, bright, eye-catching.
There's no wrong answer — but there is a right answer for your brand. Drop yours in the comments and we'll tell you if we agree. 👀

Before Columbus was Columbus, there was Franklinton.
Founded in 1797 — nearly a decade before Columbus was officially platted as the state capital — Franklinton sits just west of the river and is technically the oldest European-settled neighborhood in what is now the city of Columbus. It was originally called "The Bottom" by locals, built on a floodplain that flooded badly enough to lose most of its early buildings to the Scioto more than once.
Today Franklinton is one of the most creatively vibrant neighborhoods in the city — murals, arts organizations, and a community that's been around longer than any other in Columbus.
We're at 4191 West Broad, not far from where it all started.
If you're a West Sider with Franklinton roots, drop a 👋 below.

Fall Brides, Listen UP!
If you're getting married this fall in Columbus, here's something most couples find out too late:
Wedding invitations should go out 6–8 weeks before the wedding. That means a September wedding needs invitations in mailboxes by late July, and printing happens 2–3 weeks before that.
For a fall wedding, you should be designing in June and printing in July.
We're a locally-owned print shop on the West Side, and we've printed thousands of Columbus wedding invitations. If you're starting to plan, reach out, quotes are always free.
