During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we proudly recognize the call takers, dispatchers, and supervisors of the City of Columbus 911 Emergency Communications Center. These dedicated professionals are the first, first responders answering every 911 call with calm, clarity, and compassion, no matter the situation. In moments of crisis, they provide reassurance to callers, gather critical information, and ensure that help is sent quickly and efficiently. Their ability to remain composed under pressure while making split-second decisions is nothing short of remarkable.

The dispatchers, call takers, and supervisors who serve our city work around the clock, often behind the scenes, yet their impact is felt in every emergency response. They are the vital link between the public and the first responders in the field, coordinating efforts that save lives and protect our community every day. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to service.
