The Boys of Summer" By Michael Casciaro
Congratulations to CSU Army ROTC alumni LTC (Ret) Michael Casciaro, class of 1984 and a Distinguished Military Graduate. He just authored and published The Boys of Summer; a tale of Peacekeeping and Leadership.
LTC (Ret) Casciaro was commissioned as an Infantry Officer and also served as a Middle East FAO.

Columbus State University Army ROTC is proud to announce the commissioning of 2LT Taeler Doyle and 2LT Jade Garner. Columbus State University President Dr. Stuart Rayfield, Major General (Ret) Patrick Donahoe along with CSM Derrick Garner, family, friends, and faculty were in attendance to celebrate with the Army’s newest 2LT’s. From the entire CSU Army ROTC cadre and staff, THANK YOU for all your hard work and maintaining the high standards of the Cougar Battalion!!
We will commission the remaining 21 seniors on 11 May 2024 at the National Infantry Museum.
