In Swahili, Kulishana means “feed one another” and highlights our true mission: to use food as a means of bringing nations and peoples together in a mutually beneficial way. While we in the United States can help feed those in need through financial support and nutritional interventions, we can be fed in return by humbly accepting the beauty and strength of nations often seen as weak and broken. Kulishana then is more than a brand, it’s an opportunity to change lives and connect people, one recipe at a time.
