Drumroll please……. The big surprise is:

I have seen a fair amount of places in my life. A lot of Montana and the surrounding states. Lived in Seattle for a couple years. Canada. Mexico. Disneyland. Legoland. I’ve got to take my kids on some neat adventures. They’ve both been on airplanes and trains. But this might trump them all!

This will be a first for all of us. We will be seeing the sun RISE on the ocean! Dip our toes in the Atlantic! I put an application in for a breast cancer retreat for my family, and we were selected! It took some finagling with appointments and such, but we are going!! I can hear my mom…. Never tell people that you are going to be gone on Facebook 🤣🤣 so I’m not telling you when or how long. And I’ll also tell you we have made arrangements so that our house is occupied 🤷🏼‍♀️😊. That is kind of a must when you have this many animals 🤦🏼‍♀️ but none the less, we are excited!

Do we have the time, money or energy to travel across the country? Not really. But who does??!? None of us are guaranteed tomorrow. Some days I feel like I got dealt a s**t hand in life. Or maybe it’s more like I had decent cards, but got cheated out of a few along the way. So I’m going to hang on to the cards I have left and enjoy every second!

I am excited for some networking with other breast cancer fighters to see if I can get some ideas for my lymphedema arm. I’m excited for my kiddos and Martin to be able to visit with kids and spouses going through similar situations; to be able to talk to someone other than me about their emotions and concerns. And, I’m super excited to feel like I can do something exciting and adventurous for my family (almost) all by myself! That is, with the help of an entire organization and supporters and a town full of people willing to volunteer their time, properties, services, etc 🤣🤣🤣

So be prepared for some photo dumps of our adventures 🥰
