In the late 90s and early 2000s, I served on the Columbus City School Board as President. I am very passionate about helping improve the education systems and economic environment in my district.

On Wednesday, May 3rd, the 4th-grade students from West Franklin Elementary School visited the Statehouse, where they learned all about Ohio's State Legislature and history. I had the opportunity to meet these young scholars and show them the House Chamber. The students came with curious minds and an eagerness to learn. It is safe to say that our great state has a bright future!
