👋 Hi all, Halim here. 99.99999999% of the time it is the Amazing River making these posts, but I am pretty excited about this one.

I recently started collecting 4K HD (UHD) and select Blu Ray movies. I know, I know (as do many), I am a madman for jumping into an ever declining world of physical media users. But there's just something about it that got me hooked. Probably from my Movie Gallery, Video Wearhouse, and Blockbuster renting with my family when I was a kid and being into collectible TCGs since my first memories.

The businessman inside of me thought it would be worth offering this interest to the very few others out there, and maybe those thinking about getting into it. Starting soon, we will have some amazing titles at TCP - Columbus, new and used, from botique and indie films to blockbuster and mainstream.

This is more of a passion project, and I have to start small and test the waters before going too wild. The more we sell, the more we can expand this avenue. I have started with a very wide, specialty array of films spanning many decades, genres, prices, rarities, and names. I also have a selection of used films hitting the floor at the same time, an area I hope grows rapidly.

🎬 Let's lay down some guidelines upfront.

📌 We will primarily do 4K UHD movies only; very few Blu Rays and no DVDs.

📌 We are already approved with the largest movie distribution sources in America carrying pretty much every 4k title in existence.

📌 We have access to every movie studio that does 4K releases you can think of, noteworthy ones being; Criterion Collection, Arrow Video, Kino Lorber, Vinegar Syndrome, way more to list, and all of the big name studios too.

📌 I have noticed immediately, the margins for these when comparing online are literally IMPOSSIBLE to compete with. Many of those online source are selling at losses, and we will NOT be competing with those prices, ever.

📌 We will put the new titles out at MSRP, but we will have a system in place of bulk buying discounts for new titles only. Something like 2 movies at 10% off, 3+ movies at 20% off. These rates will be capped at those numbers and locked in.

📌 I will also be doing a Buy-Sell-Trade on these, but only me (Halim), will ever be the "movie guy / buyer".

📌 Yes, you can trade your cards towards these at our normal rates. Yes, you can trade movies towards these (to Halim only). BUT: we will ONLY buy or trade for 4K UHD movies (black boxes usually), or high end / rare Blu Ray titles (Criterion, KL, Arrow, etc.). *NO DVDs and NO MAINSTREAM BLU RAY TITLES will be purchased or traded for.

📌 Our rates on movie buying will be very, very low because of how hard this industry is, but the rates will beat out any big box chain or store that buys movies. Offers vary based on titles, inventory, interest, market value, etc. Discs and cases MUST BE in flawless condition for trades. All movies and cases will be inspected on-site.

📌 Please ONLY come in-person to check what titles are available. Yes, we can get movies, but the minimum orders for most of these distribution sources is quite high, so it's unlikely we can get your title until our next big order.

I really, really want this to go well and hope we can add it permanently to our operations, but have realistic expectations going in on this.
