Over 83% of low-income worker households in Columbus cannot afford to pay for rent, food and heat on the money they earn. MWA joins together those who agree that as long as any of us are left behind in poverty, none of us are safe. We do not attempt to represent workers in negotiation with their employers - in fact, 80% of our nation's troubled economy rests today on the shoulders of those workers who have no relation to national labor laws.
