My girl, Meowscarada, gets a turn in the spotlight as the start of a trio of raids featuring Paldea's starters. I'm happy anytime I get to add a Grass-type to the ranks, and as part of my competitive run, I'm PSYCHED to get one with the . The raid ends Thursday, so grab some friends and catch this one while you can!

#4 A Bright New Expansion for .

This game really captures the feeling of being a kid and getting a new pack of cards, and now, a new set scratches that itch. The new Link abilities are a fun addition, and the art continues to be EXCEPTIONAL. I, personally, am exceptionally excited to complete this one.

#3 Legends ZA Update!

Our second trip to the Kalos region creeps ever closer, and we got a closer look at the future of Legends. The battle system has gotten an overhaul, and now battles feel more realistic than ever. Pokemon can dodge, and moves have varying ranges. We also got a glimpse of the new cast, mega-evolutions, and... man, Im gonna have to take Chikorita, aren't I...

#2 A Battler's Dream!

A new Stadium-style game is in the works and I. Am. PUMPED. An early trailer shows off Mega Charizard X sparring against a Terastilaized Dondozo, which means we're seeing gimmicks from multiple generations. If this goes on to include Dynamax and Z-Moves, this will be the most ambitious and gratifying title to date. No release window, but that only bolsters my hopes! Looking forward to the Home connectivity on this one, especially.

#1 DESSERT IS HERE!!!!

After years of teasing from , the all-time best Fairy Type (and cornerstone of my competitive team), finally joins the fray! I've been calling for this since 2021, and Arceus has heard my wishes. Will it be Defender? Supporter? WHO CARES?! This is a Day One Purchase.

Oh. And I guess Suicune and Alolan Raichu are joining too.

The crowd was ELECTRIC last night, so the outfit today felt inspired. Speaking of, here's my electric-type team to match the 'fit!

Rotom Mow (or "Motom" as he should be dubbed), cuz I have to have a grass type somewhere on the team! Electivire was a WORKHORSE on my Platinum playthrough, especially in the Battle Frontier. Eelektross is there for that sweet,sweet no-weakness Levitate. Pawmot is there for Revival Blessing. Always Revival Blessing. Being able to revive fainted teammates is HUGE. Then Tapu Koko, the guardian diety of MeleMele Island and an electric surge godsend. And finally rounding it out with Mega Toxtricity (High Voltage form), cuz I'm always ready to rawk!
