Although Dawson Elementary has closed, our teachers continue to shine in their new schools. Congratulations to Mrs. Anissa Alvarado for being recognized as Teacher of the Year at Eddy Middle School! And, congratulations to Ms. Mary Green on your upcoming retirement after serving at Mary A. Buckner Academy!

What a fabulous ending for the legacy of Dawson Elementary School! Our school was recognized at this week's GaDOE Federdal Programs Conference for advancing achievement. Go, Tigers!

Dawson is closing its doors forever 🥹. We would like to invite all former Dawson Tigers for the final rodeo… a chance to be at Dawson one final time. This will take place on Thursday, May 23rd at noon.
