Our leadership team had a great time volunteering at the Mid-Ohio Food Collective last week! We are proud to be giving back and helping others in our community.

One of Core's foundational values is to be a Learning Organization. We do this by creating opportunities for employee development. Currently, the second wave of our emerging leaders are taking part in a year-long program. It emphasizes our corporate strategy & business operations while fostering better cross-functional relationships.

This group gathered in Columbus, to take part in a week-long conference. For many, it was a first chance to interact in person, since prior to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Participants traveled from each of our North American facilities. We are so grateful for the time spent together.

We wanted to get in on our community's Back-to-School fun. Our staff collected supplies to donate to Ready Set School, a non-profit that supports all eligible K-12 students in Winona County. Thanks to everyone who participated.

Please join us in congratulating Renee Anderson, EVP of Human Resources, for being selected as a 2022 honoree of the Columbus Business First - HR Impact award.

Renee has been directly involved with the organization’s overall transformation, vision, growth, and strategy.

Her focus has been on driving results through; improving HR systems and processes, employee-engaged culture, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and talent/succession planning.

Under Renee’s leadership, Core has implemented a world-class leadership development program to offer opportunities for high-potential employees. Not only has the program helped build an internal talent pipeline, but it has also provided tangible results. In 2021, 29% of Core’s open positions were filled with internal promotions.
