Very proud of Joey (2nd) and Maxwell (3rd); their character shined through the gloomy grey mist at the track yesterday.

Despite our best efforts to set them up for success in their first race, they were thrown into a very difficult position having only practiced on a damp track once and never previously turning a lap in full rain. Yet despite the uncomfortable and unpredictable conditions they never once complained, instead listening intently to their coaching and focusing on the job at hand.

Racing is fun and earning a position on the podium is always the goal, but the real value of motorsport is how it reveals our true nature through the tests and trials leading up to, and in, competition, and yesterday Joey and Maxwell exhibited true integrity. 👍

Here’s hoping we’ll finally be dry by the first race next season!
