Children don't come with instruction manuals, and they can't always verbalize when something is wrong. Family and friends can be quick to offer advice without knowing all the intimate details of the problem. This only causes you to feel even more subconscious and question your parenting abilities. Someone who can remain completely neutral and point out things family and friends can't because they're too connected to it. I understand how difficult it is to ask for help. Unfortunately, we live in a society where people are quick to judge and often lack of empathy. This may lead you to believe the only person you can rely on is yourself, causing you to feel even more overwhelmed.
