If your child is a runner or eloper and parking lots create a serious safety concern, you may qualify for a handicap parking placard in Mississippi.

The process is simple:
• Download Form 76-104 from the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
• Ask your child's healthcare provider to complete the medical section and explain the safety concerns related to elopement.
• Turn the completed form in at your county Tax Collector's Office, not the DMV.
• In most cases, the placard is free.
