Harmony Connection Chorus

We would like to take some time today to honor our 2026 Chorus Hero Wendy Hofmann!
Dependable, creative, analytical, and endlessly generous with her time, Wendy Hofmann has been selected as the chorus hero of Harmony Connection Chorus.

In our small chorus, many people pitch in to keep things moving, but Wendy goes above and beyond. She has been a member of our chorus for over 30 years, and she has frequently served in leadership positions and has always gone the extra mile to keep our chorus thriving.

Wendy’s musical expertise is a vital asset to our chorus. She is a talented arranger, and is currently working toward her certification. She has crafted custom intros and tags and reworked measures and key changes to suit our chorus’s strengths. With that, it is probably not surprising that Wendy sings baritone in our chorus, and she now also serves as our baritone section leader.

Beyond the music, Wendy has been a key individual in crafting our visual presentation the last two years. She has invested countless hours into helping choreograph our songs, and she has dedicated her time ahead of rehearsals to helping chorus members learn their choreography.

Her work ethic is equally impressive behind the scenes. She is an active member of our marketing committee, and she coordinates practices for community performances and helps select our song line up to help us spread the joy of barbershop music through our community. Wendy is a dependable baritone, and we can always count on her to perform if she is available, sometimes carrying the baritone part on her own. This year, Wendy also scouted out a new location for our annual holiday Sweets and Songs Extravaganza, ensured the logistics would work for our event, and managed the contract with the facility.

With all that she has done and continues to do for our chorus, we are excited to be able to honor Wendy Hofmann in this small way. Thank you, Wendy! You’ve always been our hero, and now we’re making it official!

We had an amazing Coaching with Lauren Kilgore a couple of weeks ago! We are still digesting all the great information she gave us and we had such a fun time with her in front of us! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge Lauren!
