Our new campaign for the Florida Center for Nursing started with a simple observation: if scrubs are the defining symbol of nursing, then we need to redefine scrubs. Because — according to the FCN’s Florida Workforce Characteristics report — while Florida’s nursing workforce is expanding, only 7.2% of nurses in the state are under age 30. That raises tough questions about the long-term sustainability of the profession as retirements increase in the coming years.

To appeal to that younger demo and drive renewed interest, we built “For Every Need, There’s A Nurse,” a campaign designed to reveal the career’s many paths and possibilities - and push against existing stereotypes of what a job in nursing looks like.

Timed to coincide with National Nurses Week (May 6-12), the campaign brings the message to life by featuring nurses in a variety of real-world settings doing what they do best: meeting people where they are and serving critical needs. The fully integrated effort runs across CTV, streaming radio, and digital/social.
