Had an incredible trip to Japan this past week to visit the Honda HRC headquarters and get a behind-the-scenes look at the facility.

Back in September we were honored to have some very elite members of both American Honda and Honda Japan / HRC visit our shop, so getting the chance to travel to their home base and continue building that relationship made this trip even more special.

The team set up a full day in the classroom where we went deep into data, electronics, and the development process of the HRC ECUs. We were blown away by the level of detail on their WSBK and endurance bikes. We also got a surprise tour of the HRC MX/SX shop, where the 250s, 450s, and trials bikes are developed.

Day two was packed with travel as we visited a local kart track to watch teams testing, followed by stops at several legendary HRC service shops with decades of on and off track success. Throughout the whole trip everyone treated us with the highest level of hospitality, and we’re truly grateful for the opportunity.

Huge thank you to Jeff and Brandon at American Honda for pulling this trip together last-minute, and to Mark, Hayden, and Jerry for the good times during the stay. Overall made getting around a whole new area easy and fun.

Lastly a big shoutout to my dad, Darrell, for a last-second flight to Arkansas to get an emergency passport when the mail-in wasn’t going to make it. Without him, this whole weekend wouldn’t have come together. 🙏🏼
